Neptuno


the silver wash of a foamy rage
ripped and oily, the fish are leaving;
swept away from this God's stage.

the mermaid's larva, the deepest black.
the Moon is full, the Coral grieving,
the leaning tides shall not come back.

(sunken eyes they've turned to stone
to drowning fate, they must atone)

swaying waves, that vibrant tap of life's Evolution.
underwater: struggles are violent, slow strangulation.
choked to death from merciless, murderous pollution.

His surface appears calm, seems a natural motion,
while deep below, no safe navigation.
in the death of this God,

His grave of an Ocean.
